The event will allow individuals to learn more about Rent Registry and how it can benefit them.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The workshop will take place in-person at the Beverly Hills City Hall Municipal Gallery located at 455 N. Rexford Dr.<\/p>\n<p>Virtual option available at www.beverlyhills.org\/rentstabilization. To learn everything, you need to know about rent control, registration, and more.<\/p>\n<p>-Understand the rent registry requirements<br \/>\n-Get your questions answered by City staff<br \/>\n-Ensure compliance and avoid penalties<\/p>\n<p>The Rent Stabilization Division administers and enforces the Rent Stabilization Ordinance, which applies to most residential rental properties in Beverly Hills with two or more units.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"subhead2\" role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\">Maximum Annual Rent Increases<\/h3>\n<p>The maximum allowed annual rent increases for rent stabilized tenants is outlined in Beverly Hills Municipal Code Sections\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/codelibrary.amlegal.com\/codes\/beverlyhillsca\/latest\/beverlyhills_ca\/0-0-0-4384\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" aria-describedby=\"audioeye_new_window_message\" aria-label=\"4-5-303 Opens in new window\">4-5-303<\/a>\u00a0(Chapter 5 tenants) and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/codelibrary.amlegal.com\/codes\/beverlyhillsca\/latest\/beverlyhills_ca\/0-0-0-4669\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" aria-describedby=\"audioeye_new_window_message\" aria-label=\"4-6-3 Opens in new window\">4-6-3<\/a>\u00a0(Chapter 6 tenants).<\/p>\n<p>The current maximum allowed annual rent increases are as follows:<\/p>\n<table class=\"fr-alternate-rows\" role=\"grid\">\n<thead>\n<tr>\n<th><strong>Tenant Type<\/strong><\/th>\n<th><strong>Update Schedule<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/th>\n<th><strong>Last Update<\/strong><\/th>\n<th><strong>Maximum Allowed Rent Increase<\/strong><\/th>\n<\/tr>\n<\/thead>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td class=\"fr-thick\" data-label=\"Tenant Type\"><strong>Chapter 5<\/strong><\/td>\n<td class=\"fr-thick\" data-label=\"Update Schedule\">Monthly<\/td>\n<td class=\"fr-thick\" data-label=\"Last Update\">September 11, 2025<\/td>\n<td class=\"fr-thick\" data-label=\"Maximum Allowed Rent Increase\"><strong>3.14%<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td class=\"fr-thick\" data-label=\"Tenant Type\"><strong>Chapter 6<\/strong><\/td>\n<td class=\"fr-thick\" data-label=\"Update Schedule\">Annually in June<\/td>\n<td class=\"fr-thick\" data-label=\"Last Update\">June 2025<\/td>\n<td class=\"fr-thick\" data-label=\"Maximum Allowed Rent Increase\"><strong>3%<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>*\u00a0The chapter 5 rent increase allowable percentage\u00a0<span data-pasted=\"true\">will be delayed\u00a0<\/span>at this time due the government shutdown. Please check back for further updates.<\/p>\n<p>Only one rent increase for each tenant is permitted for every 12 months.
