HOLLYWOOD HILLS\u2014On Wednesday, July 9, the Los Angeles Fire Department battled a fire on a freeway overpass. The fire was reported at 3:16 p.m. at Universal Studios Boulevard and Hollywood Freeway.<\/p>\n
The fire was deep within a concealed space inside the freeway overpass, a bridge of concrete construction above the freeway. The California Highway Patrol was also on the scene.<\/p>\n
By 5:30 p.m. the LAFD reported they extinguished the stubborn fire involving rubbish and debris compartmentalized deep within the concrete bridge structure infrastructure.<\/p>\n
