The incident was reported at 5:30 p.m. where LAFD Air and Ground Response with L.A. Park Rangers to an ill adult male hiker on a remote section of the Wonder View Trail east of the Wisdom Tree in Griffith Park.<\/p>\n
An LAFD Rescue Helicopter was lowered to a Flight Paramedic to medically assess and stabilize the patient. They were later hoisted along with the LAFD Flight Paramedic into the hovering helicopter for continuing in-flight care during direct air transport to an area hospital.
