It’s the Christmas spirit that truly counts, however when it comes to celebrities, they are known for their elaborate Christmas trees, with many sharing their festive decorations on social media. Many of them include the Kardashian-Jenner family, who are frequently cited for their over-the-top displays, and Joanna Gaines, known for her unique decorating style. Many like Taylor Swift have a string connection to the holiday, partly due to her family-owned Christmas tree farm, and Jennifer Aniston’s special ornaments are always a recurring talking point.  

Kardashian’s often feature their elaborate and sometimes unconventional decorations. Kylie Jenner has shared her festive displays, and Kourtney Kardashian is known for her creative approaches, which have included vibrant red trees and even upside-down trees. Kim Kardashian recently revealed her Christmas decoration on Instagram on December 2, 2025. The SKIMS founder revealed countless snow-covered Christmas trees lining the halls of her vast Los Angeles home.

The smell of the pine trees according to Kim, was amazing according to her video story. Keeping up with her indoor forest with twinkle-light clad pine trees throughout the main floor of her home, even including a bundle of trees in the kitchen was breathtaking. The star also pointed out a few Elf on the Shelf inclusions, adding, “Oh I see a little elf hiding in the tree.” In a later clip, Kim, who shares kids North,11, Saint, 9, Chicago,7, and Psalm 5, with ex-husband Kanye “Ye” West-made it clear that she had the Christmas vibes to match her show-stopping decorations as composer Philip Cornish played “Away in a Manger,” on her home piano. 

The Kardashian-Jenners are no strangers to doing it big for the most festive time of the year. Momager Kris Jenner opens up about what makes her annual Christmas Eve bash stand out from the rest. She loves to send off her guests with fabulous, fun gifts that they wouldn’t have thought of themselves. The 70-year-old who recently celebrated her birthday bash also in style, says that some of her kids are easier to shop for than others.

She thinks that Kim is the hardest to shop for, since Kim is very specific and particular in her surrounding, her aesthetic, her door. Khloe’s very similar to her mom. Kylie and Kendall love the nostalgia of it all. Kourtney loves all of it and Rob’s very much like we all are. I’m sure she does very well, shopping for her six children and 13, yes 13 grandkids. 

Many other celebrities such as Kelly Ripa, Reese Witherspoon, Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez, also share their Christmas tree and home decor each year. This year will most likely be a repeat of other years. Where the trend of families dressing in matching Christmas pajamas originated in the 1950s, when department store catalogs began featuring coordinated sleepwear for the whole family.

This was part of larger cultural emphasis on the nuclear family and domestic life after World War II. While no single person started it, modern social media has significantly revived and amplified the trend, with celebrities and social influencers plating a major role. So the 1950s, began with stores like Sears, Montgomery Ward, started showcasing matching family pajamas with holiday motifs. The mid-20th century trend was partly a response to the post-war emphasis on the nuclear family and the domestic sphere.

It began its revival a major resurgence in the 2010s thanks to social media, notably with a viral YouTube music video called “Christmas Jammies” in 2013. So celebrities and social media influencers continue to popularize matching pajamas, driving sales and inspiring a new generation to adopt the tradition. Will see on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok all the posts that will reflect this trend. I believe that even Mark Zuckerberg charmed in.

A diverse mix of musical performers like Ciara, Busta Rhymes, Foreigner, and Kool & the Gang,  Lil Jon, Debbie Gibson, Jewel, Shaggy, Matteo Bocelli, along with a variety of many other performers. The parade will also feature celebrity appearances from people like LLia Kalinin and Nikki DeLoach, and a special correspondent role for Sean Evans. 

New Floats, LEGO, POPCITY, LINDOR, Serta’s Counting Sheep, Holland America Line’s Alaskan cruise and Goldfish’s “Littlest Float.” The new balloons from Nintendo, Buzz Lightyear from Disney and Pixar celebrating Toy Story’s 30th anniversary, PAC-Man  and Shrek’s onion carriage. With other balloons including Minnie Mouse and Dora the Explorer. My grandson’s favorite, Bluey. 

Thanksgiving food includes the traditional turkey and popular side dishes like stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, and cranberry sauce. Other common foods are sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, and many varieties of pie including pipkin and pecan pies for dessert among other goodies.

These traditional pies are truly a staple in American households. On Thanksgiving Day in Los Angeles, you can enjoy holiday events like ice skating at Pershing Square or Ice at Santa Monica or visit attractions such as the Aquarium of the Pacific or Universal Studios Hollywood. For a more relaxed day, you could take a wine hike in Malibu, catch a traditional meal at a restaurant, or participate in a local Turkey Trot event. 

The LA Auto Show, which is a 10-day event is also something to attend. Many people decide to volunteer or attend a community Thanksgiving dinner, such as the one hosted by Westside Thanksgiving. Do you want an Italian Thanksgiving? Visit Eataly for Italian-inspired Thanksgiving dishes.

Yes, several football games are playing all Thanksgiving Day, a tradition that has been in place for decades. The tradition includes a pair of NFL games hosted by the Detroit Lions and the Dallas Cowboys, with a third NFL game sometimes played later in the evening. The 2025 NFL Thanksgiving halftime shows will feature Post Malone, Jack White and Lil Jon as headliners.

Each artist will perform during one of the three Thanksgiving Day games. Jack White will be at the Detroit Lions game, Post Malone at the Dallas Cowboys game, and Lil Jon at the Cincinnati Bengals game. If you are staying inland don’t want to watch football, turn on a movie, like “Planes, Trains and Automobiles,”or perhaps “Rocky” from 1976, an oldie but goodie.

Many people watch “Home Alone,” on Thanksgiving night as the official start of the Christmas season in that spirit. Sometimes people watch “Miracle on 34th Street,” is a great movie to watch on Thanksgiving. I would also say “Christmas with the Kranks.”

Nearby, 18th-and 19th-century homes line the streets of College Hill. Waterplace Park is the backdrop for the WaterFire art installation, which lights up the surrounding tidal basin most nights in the summer and for specials events. Many celebrities attended Brown University, including Emma Watson, John Krasinki, and Julie Bowen; media mogul Ted Turner and of course John F. Kennedy Jr. Emma Watson was best known for the Harry Potter film series graduated in 2014. Yes, many celebrities are from Rhode Island, including Viola Davis, Debra Messing, and James Woods. Viola Davis an Academy Award-winning actress who was born in Central Falls. Debra Messing, known for her roles in Will & Grace and the starter wife, she was born in East Greenwich, a beautiful city that one of my hairdressers is, Lexi. James woods, the Oscar nominated actor is a Rhode Island native who graduated from Pilgrim High School in Warwick. Mena Suvari, an actress known for American Beauty and the American Pie franchise, she was born in Newport. 

Celebrities that have homes in Rhode Island are Taylor Swift, Jay Leno and Conan. Taylor Swift owns a large mansion in the coastal community of Watch hill, which is part of the town of Westerly, Rhode Island. The property is known as the “Holiday House,” and was purchased in 2013. It is often cited as the most expensive home in the state, and it serves as a popular location for her famous July 4th parties. Swift purchased the home in 2013 for $17.75 million. It’s an 11,000 square foot estate on a 5.23 acre waterfront lot, which includes seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms and 700 feet of shoreline. The home is mostly for hosting her annual Independence Day gatherings. 

Taylor Swift eats at several places in Rhode Island, including the Olympia Tea Room in Westerly for dinner, Ella’s Food & Drink in Westerly for fine dining and cooking classes, and the St. Clair Annex for breakfast or ice cream. She has also been spotted at the cooked Goose for breakfast and brunch, and at PizzaPlace for pizza, I was actually East Greenwich, Rhode Island for a few hours where I stopped at a place called Union & Main, the salad was delicious, highly recommend the roast beet and kale. It was wonderful seeing my family, all my cousins, just sad being there for my cousins funeral. 

Yesterday was a profoundly uplifting day, filled with illuminating epiphanies and a renewed sense of limitless possibility. The universe reconnecting and divine power. Yesterday I was sharing with my daughter-in-law that one of my dearest, best friends lived a block away from a park I was walking around. I mentioned I worked with Flo, and that her son was the incredibly talented David Bryan from Bon Jovi. Later in the evening, my daughter texted me and said she was having dinner and that she recognized David, which was a truly remarkable coincidence. I told her to go up to him and share that I worked with his late mom, and I texted her a heartfelt photo of David when he was 17 with his parents. She showed him, and he was utterly surprised, which was a touching moment. It was as if destiny had brought my daughter Kelly and David together, and I felt grateful to have been a part of it.

Lauren’s engagement ring could range from $3 million to upwards of $5 million.

Then we have Cristiano Ronaldo, after eight years of dating with his partner Georgia Rodriguez, the massive oval shaped diamond is estimated with the center stone to be at 37 carats. Massive ring! Lady Gaga engagement ring from businessman Michael Polansky, features a monster oval diamond set on an 18-karat white and rose gold diamond pave band with natural pink ombre diamonds. It’s estimated to cost anywhere between $500,000 to $2 million, according to published reports. 

Oh, who could forget Bethenny Frankel ring, before the split. Paul Bernon proposed with a massive ring. Our beautiful Paris Hilton custom gem from Carter Reum is reportedly worth $1 million. Beautiful ring as well. Anna Kournikova and Enrique Iglesias have been together for decades, he gave her a beautiful 11 carat natural pink, pear shaped diamond accompanied by two trillion cut diamonds on the sides valued at $2.5 million. We can’t discuss diamonds without mentioning the late Elizabeth Taylor, she had a massive jewelry collection that was extremely impressive, the diamond ring given by her husband Richard Burton was 33.19 carat diamond ring, one of the most stunning pieces in her arsenal of jewels. 

Actress Jennifer Lopez, who has been engaged, yes, six times, included a knockout 6 carat pink diamond ring from now divorced Ben Affleck. When they rekindled their relationship and decided to finally get married after the first time they broke up, he gave her an enormous green diamond. Unfortunately, luck didn’t last even with the green colored ring and the couple filed for divorce in august 2024. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have since split however he proposed with a 15-carat ring then followed with a 20-carat one several years later.

It was a 20-carat emerald cut diamond ring from Lorraine Schwartz, with the word Adidas engraved inside, unfortunately it was stolen when Kim was robbed in Paris. Mariah Carey and Australian billionaire James Packer may have called it quits but the star kept her epic 35-carat rock designed by Wilfredo Rosado.

The ring is estimated to be worth $10 million dollars. Kate Middleton’s engagement ring not only has some serious sparkle but has royal history. The 12-carat oval sapphire given to Kate by Prince William used to belong to his mom, Princess Diana. The sapphire stone is surrounded by 14 solitaire diamonds and is set on a white gold band.

Kim began her legal career through California’s Law Office Study Program its basically an apprenticeship alternative to traditional law school and she’s not a fully licensed lawyer yet. She has completed her studies and passed the necessary preliminary exams, and is awaiting the results of the main California Bar Exam she took in July 2025.

So instead of going to law school, she enrolled in a four-year apprenticeship (which took her six due to other commitments) with a law firm in San Francisco, a method of legal study permitted in a few states, including California. This path requires reading the law under the supervision of a practicing attorney.  She was required to pass the First-Year La students Examination, commonly known as the “baby bar” which she did on her fourth attempt in December 2021.

In March 2025, she passes the Multistage Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE), another required step before she could sit for the final bar exam. She celebrated the completion of her six-year- law study program in May 2025. 

The full bar exam was taken in July 2025 and the results are expected to be released on November 7, 2025. Her legal journey was motivated by a desire to work on criminal justice and prison reform. She has already been an active advocate, working on several clemency cases and helping to commute prison sentences for nonviolent offenders.

Kardashian has expressed a long-term goal of becoming a trial lawyer and plans to focus fully on law within the next decade. Kim has four children with ex-husband Kanye West, also runs fashion and shape wear brand SKIMS and spears in the reality series The Kardashians with her family. Her first real introduction to acting was her 2023 casting in the 12th season of “American Horror Story,” in which she appeared as a publicist. In her latest acting, she reunites with Ryan Murphy, who is also befit hits series such as “Glee” and “Pose.”

Her latest project, “Alls Fair,” is a legal drama set in the US, which sees Kardashian play a divorce lawyer alongside Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts, Glenn Close, Niece Nash and Teyana Taylor. Disney + says it holds the records for their most watched trailer of all time, since she’s in that movie.

Kardashian in real life has been divorced three-times-most recently with Kanye West in 20222 after eight years of marriage. Kardashian’s co-star Naomi Watts, says the story of women who feel like they’re finished are all over, broken and in pieces, at the end of a relationship is one that is familiar for many thus like Naomi says, very relatable.  

Much of the talk around the show has been about the strength of the all-female cast, which is filled with some of Hollywood’s biggest names. The cast all echo that to was Ryan Murphy-who has won six Grammy awards, a Tony award and two Grammy awards in his 25-year-career in television, film and theatre-that convinced them to sign up. Murphy received a five-year development deal with Netflix in 2018, which was reportedly worth $300 million. Murphy now has a new deal with Disney+ which includes “Alls Fair.” He serves as executive producer on the show alongside Kardashian, Close, Paulson, Watts and Nash. Kris Jenner, Kardashian’s mother and manager, also receives a director credit.

While, I’m still grieving, mourning and healing, I know that her love remains with me forever. I remember the times we shared, the laughter, and memories- and this will keep her memory and legacy alive. Losing a mother is one of life’s most significant losses, and it’s essential to acknowledge  and process your emotions to heal. So when I found out that Priscilla Presley was going to be around, I felt the only one to get me out would be her.

Her incredible strength and courage dealing with loss is admirable. When I asked her how she had the courage and strength to go on, she said. “I found the strength thinking that my son and grandkids needed me.” Just those words, made me feel like I can go on, such encouragement  and bond I felt being next to her and having a conversation.

I really wanted to meet her to ask her, how she had the courage to go on with the loss of her mom, Elvis, grandson, and daughter Lisa Marie Presley. So I found the courage to get out and distract myself. What a kind soul she is. No wonder Elvis Presley married her. She is simply amazing.  Who doesn’t know Priscilla Presley?

A beloved actress, producer and cultural icon, who portrayed Jenna Wade on the hit television series Dallas, seen by her 300 million plus viewers globally each week during its run. Of course like everything thing you love, it eventually comes to an end. She appeared in the widely successful Naked Gun trilogy, as well as other television  projects, including “Dancing With The Stars.” 

In addition to her celebrated acting career, Priscilla Presley is internationally respected for her business achievements and dedication to preserving the legacy of Elvis Presley. She became co-executor of the Presley Estate in 1979, she transformed it into a global brand through Graceland, music publishing, merchandising and partnerships with companies like Authentic Brands Group, where she serves as an advisor.

Her work as an executive producer  on the critically acclaimed album “If I Can Dream” helped it top charts as part of Elvis’ enduring cultural impact.  Priscilla has always been passionate about her causes, serving as an ambassador for the Dream Foundation and advocating for animal welfare through her work with the Humane society of the United States. 

Her movie “Priscilla,” was released in 2023 a drama film written, directed and produced by Sofia Coppola, based on the 1985 memoir Elvis and Me by Priscilla Presley, who serves as an executive producer and Sandra Harmon. It follows the life of a young 14 year old Priscilla Beaulieu ( Cailee Spaeny) and her complicated romantic relationship with Elvis Presley (Jacob Elordi).

The  film premiered at the 80th Venice International film Festival on September 4, 2023, where Spaeny won the Volpi Cup for Best Actress, among many other awards. The film is currently on Amazon Prime, and highly recommended.  Watching some never-been clips of Elvis and Priscilla and Lisa were actually very intimate, felt very welcoming.

I never met Elvis Presley, the year I was going to see him in concert, he passed on August 16, 1977. Through the years, I met his Uncle Vestor, Lisa Marie Presley, now Priscilla Presley and her son Navarone Garibaldi. I was sitting at a restaurant , having drinks with friends, when I spotted Navarone, sitting at a the bar. When he walked by, I asked  are you Navarone?

I felt the instant connection and we began talking like old friends. I can see and feel his mom’s kindness in him. Navarone, is a musician who is the lead singer of Them Guns, and has his own clothing line. The jacket that Priscilla was wearing was designed by her son. Absolutely stunning!  He was also the half-brother of Lisa Marie Presley. 

Navarone  is also a reptile lover and collects reticulated pythons and Asian water monitors. Three years ago, he married Elisa Achilli at Schloss Hunger Hotel in the Emmental Valley in Switzerland. He mentioned a very funny story that in California, actress Sharon Stone had reported his python on the loose.

Many stars have already been seen at early Halloween themed parties, including Khloe Kardashian’s pumpkin decorating party and Janelle Monae’s screening of The Craft. Khloe hosted an early Halloween party with friends and family, where her son Tatum dressed as a cow. Cousins, Chicago West, True Thompson, and Dream Kardashian attended Khloe’s party in witch attire and glitter freckles. Janelle Monae attended the screening of the Craft at Hollywood Forever Cemetery on October 11. Nick Cannon, Meghan Trainer and others, listed Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights to celebrate spooky season. 

Kourtney Kardashian Barker unveiled her Halloween decorations, which include a large Skelton sculpture, piles of pumpkins, and a table scape with skulls and skeleton hands. Mason Thames and McKenna Grace went for a spooky season date night at Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights on October 18. Iris Kendall and TJ Palma the Love Island USA stars channeled Gossip Girl in matching uniforms. She even sealed the couple’s costume with an “xoxo” in the caption. Meghan Trainor and Kris Jenner are all about wings. The singer and reality star rocked tutus for their fairy costumes this year. Olivia Rodrigo traded vampires for clowns at Universal studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights on October 12.

Jennifer Love Hewitt started early this year, posting a pic with her giant Skelton decoration to Instagram on September 27 and writing, “The Holiday Junkie is ready for all the holiday magic! Let’s get festive people!” The Euphoria star celebrated her birthday with friends, family and psychotic clowns at Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights on September 28. Kevin Connelly, the entourage alum, his fiancé Zulay Henao and their daughter Kennedy attended the opening weekend of the Night of the Jack experience in Los Angeles.

Nick Cannon, Monroe Cannon and Moroccan Cannon, were at the Halloween Horror Nights at Universal studios in Hollywood.  Drew Scott and Linda Phan, the Property Brothers host and his wife found comfort in each other’s arms during spooky night out at Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights on September 28. Billie Eilish, the Grammy winner hits the right note while touring Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood on October 4.

Speaking of touring, my favorite band Guns N’ Rose’s are currently on tour, Axl Rose, 63, frontman for GNR was blowing up the internet the other day when he lost his temper on stage over the technical glitch during a Saturday concert at Estadio Tomas Adolfo Duco stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was seen on stage, the footage uploaded to YouTube showing him throwing the microphone to the floor, and seething after his earpiece appeared to have technical difficulties. He was seen also kicking the drums, current played by Isaac Carpenter. Isaac replaced Frank Ferrer, his former drummer back in March 2025. Axl who was dressed all in black, with his black leather jacket and pants, was furious since he could only hear the percussion instruments in his earpiece, during his opening song, “Welcome to the Jungle.” Techs remedied the issue, and the sexy rock star went on to sing his iconic songs.

Rose’s Scoop: It is with a heavy heart that I announce along with my family the passing of my cherished mother and grandmother Betty, on October 15, 2025, lovingly known to her grandchildren and great grandchildren as “Bibi,” She was the beloved matriarch of our family. She passed peacefully at her home. She was 91 years old.

The Ivy is a celebrity beehive that sees a constant stream of Hummers, Mercedes and Jaguars pull up and discharge folks who are through the nose to be seen eating in public. The restaurant is a location for brunch on a Tuesday in the 1992 film The Bodyguard starring Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston. The restaurant is also featured and discussed in many scenes of the 1995 film Get Shorty, where John Travolta, Danny DeVito and the late Gene Hackman discussed how stars have to order off menu. The Ivy is used as the site where Michael Vartan proposes to Jennifer Lopez in the 2005 film Monster-In-Law. It’s also featured in Season 12 of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. It’s also been featured in Entourage in Season 3 and 7, and in 30 Rock with Tracy Jordan who jokes about meeting Sharon Stone in the women’s bathroom at the Ivy. 

Another celebrity that frequented the Ivy, is Jack Nicholson, 88, hasn’t been seen lately in public. His last public appearance was at the Saturday Night Live 50th Anniversary Special on February 16, 2025. This followed his last sighting in May 2023 at an NBA playoff game, but the SNL event marks his most recent public outing, where he was using a cane. He is rarely seen in public these days, since his retirement from acting in 2010, preferring to live a more private life. Recent public images shared by his daughter Lorraine, have provided glimpses of the actor, though sources indicate he now prefers to be remembered for his past career rather than his present public persona. While the appearances are infrequent, sources according to published reports suggest his desire for privacy due to his age and potential health concerns.  Jack must be devastated like many other celebrities with the recent death of Diane Keaton. They both starred in the film “Something’s Gotta Give,” as Keaton played a playwright in love with a younger-dating cad Jack Nicholson.

In real life, Jack and Diane had a close relationship and a professional collaboration that began in the 1970s and deepened during their 2003 film “Something’s Gotta Give.” Keaton described the movie as her “favorite film” in her memoir, and their bond was so strong that Keaton’s costar Keanu Reeves noted how special it was to see real-life fondness and love on screen. With just a few days since the release of her latest album, the star is on track to have the biggest-selling album of the year. The current title holder is Sabrina Carpenter, who appears on Life of a Showgirl’s title track. Her Short N’ Sweet album has shifted 444,000 copies since January. Swift has also broken records in the US, where she notched up to 2.7 million sales last week. That marks Swift’s biggest sales week ever, and the second-largest sales week for any album since 1991, when modern chart methodology began.

Only Adele’s “25” has done better-selling 3.378 million copies in its first week in 2015. “The Life of a Showgirl” smashed records for the most vinyl albums sold in a single week Swifies snapped up 1.2 million copies on wax- mostly because the star released right collectable variant’s of the record. The previous single-week record was also set by Swift when her last album, The Tortured Poets Department, sold 859,000 copies on vinyl in its first week.

Swift’s sales figures are all very impressive because album sales everywhere in the industry are in a state of severe decline. Ed Sheeran’s latest Play sold 67,000 units when it came out last month.  He’s always been a top seller; his music is extremely profitable.

Swift topped the cinema box-office this past weekend, selling $46 million in tickets for her 89-minute film “Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party Of A Showgirl.” Swift’s 12th album was written and recorded during stolen moments on the European leg of her Eras Tour last summer. It captures the star as she falls in love with Travis Kielce, her now fiance. Travis presented her with a huge engagement ring, that made heads turn. It truly wasn’t a surprise. The four-time Album of the Year, Grammy winner Taylor Swift, latest album isn’t eligible, because it came out after the deadline, and she chose not to release a single before August 30.

Believe it or not, the Grammy year is done, meaning the eligibility window for the 2026 Grammy Awards, which runs from September 1, 2024 to August 30, 2025. So now we can analyze the songs and albums that will be in contention. Some of the leading contenders are Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga, Sabrina Carpenter, Bad Bunny, Jelly Roll, Araina Grande, Coldplay, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, and my daughter’s favorite Morgan Wallen. While the Recording Academy was slow to embrace Morgan Wallen after his series of controversial incidents a few years back.

They have been giving him more attention, in 2025, he earned his first two nods for: I Had Some Help,” his smash hit with Post Malone. Wallen chose not to submit his work for consideration for the 2026 Grammys, even though “I’m the Problem” seemingly had a great shot at getting nominated. Still, Wallen could earn a nod or two, if his collaborators like Tate McRae submit their songs. Morgan Wallen is different than other artists, he had the opportunity to submit yet chose not to. Go figure!

Others are saying goodbye to September and hello to a new month, hoping it will bring positive changes and experiences. As October’s now here, people are excited about the upcoming fall season, with its vibrant colors, cozy atmosphere, and festive holidays. Some are looking forward to enjoying pumpkin spice and everything nice! Others are embracing the new month with optimism, hoping it will bring joy, peace, love and growth. Overall, the end of September marked a special moment for those who were at the Judas Priest and Alice Cooper concert at the PNC Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey on September 26, with Corrosion of Conformity as a special guest. The Corrosion of Conformity set the tone for the night. The sludge metal legends played songs mainly from their albums Wiseblood and Deliverance. Judas Priest was next on the bill.

The frontman Rob Halford appeared center stage. Gripping his microphone with both hands and taking a wide stance like, he was bracing himself from the power of his voice. The tribute photo to Ozzy Osbourne was touching. The setlist was a heavy dose of the album Painkiller including touch of Evil, Hell Patrol and Nightcrawler. Thanking the crowd for all the support throughout the years was touching.

A special ovation was reserved for Ozzy. Closing out the set was the guitar driven frenzy of Painkiller. Let’s not forget a giant Frankstein was on stage. For the next act, a large dark curtain covered most of the stage before dropping and revealing the band in silhouette and a large door with the inscription Alice Cooper’s attic. Once the door opened Alice Cooper could be seen skulking out of the fog towards the front of the stage. It surely was a theatrical music presentation, like a night at the rock opera. There were plenty of more moments of greatness throughout the night. All of these legendary artists gave their performances everything they had. It was a fantastic evening for their fans and a display of professional showmanship.

The next day, September 27, Selena Gomes decided to tie the knot with music producer Benny Blanco in a ceremony in California. Gomez 33, and Blanco, 37, became engaged in December 2024 after a year of dating. The couple exchanged vows in Santa Barbara on September 27, 2025, in front of 170 guests, including Taylor Swift, Paul Rudd, Steve Martin and Martin Short naming many celebrities.

The couple released the album I Said I love You First in March, which explores their own love story. They previously released the hits Same Old love and Kill Em with kindness in 2015, and the 2019 track I Can’t Get Enough featuring Tainy and J Balvin. Selena rose to fame as a child star on Barney and the Disney channel. She has a fortune worth $ 1.3 billion according to Bloomberg. Her wealth came mainly from her Rare Beauty make-up company, which she founded five years ago and retains a stake in worth more than $1 billion. The brands success has made her one of the youngest female self-made wealthy on the list alongside of Taylor Swift and Rihanna. Besides her make-up company she has tens of millions of dollars in endorsement deals with Louis Vuitton, Coach and Puma. Besides nominations for Emmy and Grammy nominations.

While some celebrities are getting married the latest to be getting divorced is Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban. The announcement came last week when documents show that 58-year-old Kidman filed for divorce from 57-year-old Keith Urban in Davidson County Circuit Court in Nashville, Tennessee, where the couple resides and citing irreconcilable differences. After nearly 20 years of marriage, which is very rare for Hollywood these days. Usually, marriages only last a few months or just a few years.

HOLLYWOOD—It seems that right after Labor Day, people began decorating for the fall and Halloween. Halloween 2025 falls on a Friday, October 31, which is a desirable day of the week for celebrations, and this won’t happen again until 2031. The long weekend allows for extended festivities, such as bigger parties, parades and events like Halloween Horror Nights. It gives more time for trick-or-treating and events without the need to go to work or school the next day. So, what kind of costumes are we expecting to see at parties? I believe more movie-inspired costumes and a move towards “spooky yet cozy,” decor, with a focus on natural materials like wood, ceramics and wool. The holiday will likely see a fusion of global traditions with modern pop culture, incorporating elements from various cultures into the celebrations.

This year the 2025 outdoor Halloween decor trends are giant Skeltons and large outdoor Halloween decorations. The trend on Instagram is showing the $149 pottery barn Skelton; there are dupes out there for a little less. The Ghost Malone is back. The skeleton is lighted and sitting on a rocking chair is so adorable. With so many outdoor Halloween decor trends, you can always go with giant spiders and webs, witch-inspired decor ideas are always in, along with outdoor inflatables. The only concern is with the wind they tend to deflate. Some we are expecting a lot of pop culture costumes, including Barbie, Taylor Swift’s Eras tour, Disney villains and viral TikTok stars, alongside classics like Michael Jackson and Marilyn Monroe. The general trend is to either dress as a famous movie or TV character or to go all out with creative makeup and elaborate costumes as in the tradition Heidi Klum.

With the massive success of the Barbie movie, expect to see many celebrities dressed as the iconic characters. The Eras tour continues to be a major cultural phenomenon, making it a great source for costume inspiration. Villains like Ursula, Cruella de Vil or the characters from the Moana live-action film are likely to be popular. Recreating famous looks from iconic figures in music and movies like Michael Jackson’s “Thriller,” are always a hit. Heidi Klum is famous for both her annual Halloween party and the incredible costumes she wears to them. Last year, she dressed as E.T., the extraterrestrial from Steven Spielberg’s 1982 classic film. For this year’s Halloween, Los Angeles will host the free West Hollywood Carnaval on October 31, along with events like the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride and the separate ticketed Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure for trick-or-treating and themed entertainment. The Halloween season also includes the HorrorCon Los Angeles  convention in September and a Halloween bar crawl. HorrorCon will take place in late September. A ticketed event on November 1, 2025, offering access to multiple bars and nightclubs with music and Halloween-themed fun is sure to entertain. The Disneyland Resort will also have its usual Halloween and fall celebrations beginning in late August and running through October 31.

The city of Angels is the perfect playground for every boo-seeker. So get ready to scream, laugh and have the time if your life. Knott’s Scary Farm is always a great place to go. The theme park is the holy grail beginning on September 18 through November 1, 2025. With over 10 terrifying haunted mazes, spooky surprises around every corner, themed food and drink specials, photo ops with your favorite monsters.

Magic of the Jack-o Lanterns is always entertaining. Thousands of hand-carved pumpkins creating a magical autumn experience. You walk through  enchanting displays of carved pumpkins, each telling a story through intricate designs and dazzling light technology. Various venues throughout LA host incredible Halloween parties, with costume contests that could bring you cash prizes. Rooftop bars in West Hollywood is always a good time.

If you are traveling to the East coast for Halloween, NYC will host its 52nd annual Village Halloween Parade on Friday, October 31, 2025. It’s a staple for Halloween in NYC. A two-week festival of Halloween and harvest-themed activities, including car-free events and Did de Muertos celebrations, running from October 17-31. A family-friendly event on October 25 with pumpkin decorating, creative workshops, and the second-largest dog costume in New York. The Bronx Zoo Harvest Glow, the zoo is transformed into an immersive jack-o-lantern trail featuring over 5,000 illuminated animal-themed pumpkins and special effects running through October 31. Halloween should be fun and most of all safe.

On Sunday, September 7, the five-octave icon took home the coveted Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, and the wait was worth it. It was presented by Ariana Grande, Carey strutted to the stage at UBS Arena in Elmont, NY to accept her first-ever VMA. With her signature charm, she teased MTV while reflecting on her decades long career. Her acceptance was so down to earth, “Thank you, MTV, for giving me the Vanguard Award. I can’t believe I’m getting my first VMA tonight.” Carey quipped before dropping the punchline that had the arena howling, I just have one question. What in the Sam Hill were you waiting for?

The award was just the beginning of Mariah’s long-awaited VMAs return. For her first performance at the show in 20 years, Carey delivered a glittering medley that doubled as a love letter to her decades-spanning discography. She opened in a champagne silk feather-trimmed robe with “Sugar Sweet,” before peeling it back to reveal a rhinestone-encrusted gold romper and matching knee-high boots. All her high notes were on point. While her voice and stage presence was on fire, it dazzled, and it was almost impossible to ignore her inner and outer glow. Her performance was a showcase of nostalgia. With her 16th studio album, Here for It All, dropping September 26, Carey made it clear she’s still evolving, still creating and still setting the standard. At 56 years old, she’s the oldest artist ever to receive the Vanguard Award, a milestone that matters little to someone who famously refuses to acknowledge time. She once said, “I’m eternally 12.” The moment is historic, placing her alongside legends like Beyonce, Britney Spears, and Michael Jackson himself. Mariah Carey’s 2025 VMA moment was iconic. The fantasy singer sang a medley of her hits, a beautiful moment.

Who could forget about Lady Gaga…she went into the show as the most nominated artist of the evening with 12 nods and she took home four “moon person,” trophies taking her career total to 22. This puts her in third place on the all-time ranking list, ahead of Madonna and behind only Swift and Beyonce, who have 30 each. When collecting the award for artist of the year award, she said: “I can’t begin to tell you what this means to me. “Being an artist is an attempt to connect the should of people all over the world,” She left the arena after collecting her award, but the MTV cameras later followed her across the city to her live concert at Madison Square Garden where she performed Abracadabra and the Dead Dance. She also won awards for best direction and art direction for Abracadabra, as well as best collaboration for her song Die With A Smile alongside Bruno Mars.

Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n Sweet was crowned album of the year, while she was also named as the inaugural best pop artist and took home the visual effects award for Manchild. She delivered a retro-themed performance of Tears alongside a collection of drag queens and trans dancers holding signs reading slogans including “in trans we trust” and “protect the dolls.” Then comes Ricky, the Latin icon winner Ricky Martin showed he can still live La Vida Loca with the best of them, performing a medley of his hits. Accepting his award from Jessica Simpson, Martin said; “We just want to break boundaries, and we just want to keep his music alive.” He credited his fans with his 40-year career; “This is very simple; this is for you all.” He said, “I’m addicted to your applause, that’s why I keep coming back.”

Last but not least, Ozzy Osbourne was remembered. The former Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy, who died in July, with a performance introduced via video message from his son Jack and his children. British star Yungblud joined the likes of Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and Joe Perry to perform tracks from Osbourne’s career Crazy Train, Changes and Mama, I’m Coming Home. Coldplay collected the rock category for All My Love.

Another film is “Swiped,” a film about businesspeople developing lucrative products: Air, Tetris, Blackberry and Flaming Hot that came in 2023. Most businesspeople in these films are men. Swiped bucks that trend by telling the true story of Whiney Wolfe Herd, one of the founders of the Tinder dating app. She fell out with her co-workers, partly because of all the unsolicited explicit photos that male Tinder users were sending to women, but she went on to set-up a female friendly app, Bumble, which made her a billionaire. As for the leading role, Lily James is one of the film’s producers, via her production company. Scheduled for release on September 19, on Hulu. The amazing, beautiful actress Margot Robbie, stars on the big screen in the film “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey,” first time back from the success of the film Barbie and Colin Farrell is back on the screen for the first time since The Banshees of Inisherin. Directed by Kogonada and written by Seth Reiss. The film has two strangers Robbie and Farrell going on a road trip guided by a sentient GPS. The GPS takes them to mystical doors, which allow them to walk into their own memories, and to see how they have been affected by key moments in their past. Scheduled for release September 19 in international theaters.

Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the most acclaimed actors of his generation, and acclaimed director Paul Thomas, teamed up together in this exciting film. DiCaprio plays a former revolutionary activist. He thinks he has put that life behind him, but when an old adversary (Sean Penn) tracks him down, he has to go on the run with his teenage daughter Chase Infiniti. This film is an action filled, exciting movie with car chases, a spy-craft yarn with a clandestine agent who’s drunk and stoned, and a political thriller with an agent who’s drunk and stoned, and a political thriller that should leave us full of excitement. Scheduled for release late September.

Another interesting movie is “Eleanor the Great,” with Kristen Stewart, Harris Dickinson, Scarlett Johansson. Johansson’s comedy drama stars 95-year-old June Squibb who was Oscar nominated for her role in Alexander Payne’s Nebraska as Eleanor, a widow who has lived in Florida for years with her best friend Bessie. When Bessie dies, Eleanor moves to New York to be closer to her daughter and grandson. She then bonds with a student journalist, Nina (Erin Kellyman) while sharing her memories of the Holocaust. The snag is that Eleanor is passing off Bessie’s most painful recollections as her own. The film is scheduled for release on September 26. Then there is “Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale, the film is scheduled for release internationally on September 10, 11, and 12.

Spinal Tap, a spoof documentary about a British heavy metal band which is one of the most influential comedies, which stars Christoper Guest, Michael Mckean and Harry Shearer for a sequel. Four decades after the film was released in 1984, Rob Reiner has reunited Spinal Tap’s key members. Scheduled for release September 12. Then we have “Riefenstahl,” Leni Riefenstahl’s documentaries triumph of the Will and Olympia are Nazi propaganda, through Riefenstahl argued that she cared only about art and beauty, not politics. She spent plenty of time with Hitler, and her claims that she was unaware of his crimes against humanity were never convincing. Scheduled for release September 5.

Though he didn’t win, why I don’t know, the show helped him build a following and launch his recoding career. He signed with Panacea Records and released his debut EP, “Stand Alone,” after being eliminated in the playoffs. Wallen has co-written songs with Jason Aldean and headlined arenas and stadiums.

This past weekend he played at Gillette Stadium, home to the Coldplaygate, the superstar broke the town of Foxboro’s concert curfew by playing close to midnight. The town has confirmed that he violated the curfew, and the concert is being fined. You would think the town would cut him a break. The curfew was set up for 11:30 p.m. but the last song began at 11:44p.m. 14 minutes passed the cutoff. The fine is assessed at $0.25 per attendee, which totaled $15,705. Back in 2016, Bruce Springsteen also broke the curfew, which led to a fine of $22,429. That’s a drop in the bucket for Morgan. 

The big news came yesterday August 26, in a matter of minutes, another performer that fills up stadiums is Taylor Swift. Her Instagram account got millions of likes within minutes. Some might say who cares? Everyone gets engaged every day, truth be told not too many of us get engaged with massive rings worth millions. So, yes, the pop star Taylor Swift and the football player Travis Kielce are engaged. The news came 13 days, Swift’s lucky number, after the couple appeared on Mr. Kelce’s New Heights podcast to reveal details about Taylor’s forthcoming album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” which will be released, you guessed it, in October, the third I believe.  So, her engagement is an Old Mine Brilliant cut diamond ring by jeweler Kindred Lubbock, who works with Artifex Fine Jewelry. Swift for her engagement shoot, wore a striped silk-blend dress in shades of cream and black by Ralph Lauren and as you have probably guessed the dress is completely sold-out. The last time I checked they only had it an XXL, it goes for an estimated $319. The dress, which was on sale, quickly sold out in all sizes on Ralph Lauren’s website. Not one size is available.

His death was covered extensively in the media, and his songs began charting once again. The sad thing is when someone passes, especially singers and celebrities, all their memorabilia is worth so much more. I was fortunate to have met his Uncle Vestor and cousin Billy smith, who were so kind to me and I was given pictures of Elvis, among other things. Even decades later, fans flock to his home and the Elvis Presley birthplace and Museum in Tupelo, Mississippi, which stands as pilgrimage sites for devoted fans, honoring his life and impact on the entertainment industry. Presley stormed into the music industry back in the 1950s, transforming popular music by infusing rockabilly, rhythm and blues and country. His stage presence and dynamic shows, he was like a Greek God, took the world by storm, forging a worldwide fan base following. He was bigger than life itself. With chart-topping hits like “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Hound Dog,” “Jailhouse Rock,” Presley became an emblem of youth culture and rebellion.

His soulful vocals, energy that was infectious and a style that was so daring, it set him apart from other entertainers. He was life! He made you get up and dance, and his charming, good looks, drove the women absolutely crazy. Beyond music, Presley ventured into acting, starring in a string of movies throughout the 60s and 70s. While his films weren’t Oscar nominated material, they cemented his status to movie star and as a first-class entertainer. With fame comes fortune and also sometimes a decline.

In the months prior to his death, Elvis had gained weight, it seemed he had bloated. It was reported he was in a lot of pain. Elvis was at a point where he was so heavy he didn’t like to be touched, because he was so hot and perspiring. You can see it in one of his concerts towards the end. His health decline and financial woes contributed to his demise. Of course, his divorce from Priscilla Presley didn’t help in his decline and his addiction to junk food led him to become a recluse in his final years.  While Elvis Presley died of a heart attack and a preliminary autopsy report indicated that he suffered cardiac arrhythmia according to published reports. His fans believe his broken heart led to his demise.

While toxicology reports found high levels of opiates, according to other published reports, truth be told, he just didn’t seem the way he was and seemed very unhealthy in my humble opinion. Then the conspiracies came, where fans believed that Presley was still alive, never died, just faked his own death due to the pressures of fame and financial hardships. The sightings came following of Presley in various places, including one that suggests a groundskeeper at Graceland is actually just Presley who has grown older. Another theory that he was sighted in the “Home Alone” movie in 1990, as one of the background actors. Since Presley’s home was opened in 1982, more than estimated 23 million people have visited in total. One of the saddest things about Elvis Presley’s death is that it could have been prevented. The public could see that before he died. Elvis was out of shape and clearly not the man he once was. If the public could see this surely those closest to him could, including family and manager.

Adjusted for inflation, that’s equivalent to $20 million in today’s currency. The remarkable piece was part of the original 601-carat Rough Lesotho Diamond discovered in 1967 and the creation of famed jeweler, Harry Winston.

The 19.2-meter yacht is a crossover of the two brands and designed to satisfy owners who enjoy super yachts and supercars. Connor’s yacht features a distinctive gold hull paint and will feature the same materials as a Lamborghini supercar. It was inspired by Lamborghini’s Sian FKP37 model, Tecnomar for Lamborghini features a special “carbon skin.” NFL superstar Tom Brady took delivery of a 16-meter custom cruiser from Dutch builder Water towards the end of 2020 after signing a $50 million dollar contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He actually bought the Water 77. The Water, 55s, is christened Viva a Vida.

Fashion designer Giorgio Armani owns the 65-meter Codecasa yacht, Main. Inside the yacht, it features a muted palette, spiral staircase, gym, cinema and guest accommodations for 12. So many celebrities’ own yachts including, Billy Joel, Tony Parker, Roberto Cavalli, Diane von Furstenburg, David Gilmour, Johnny Depp, who eventually sold his yacht in July 2017 to an undisclosed buyer. Eric Clapton owns Va Bene, the super yacht. Last but not least, we have Michael Jordan, who’s currently in Ocean City, Maryland for the 52nd Annual White Marlin Open which began August 4-10. His boat is registered in the tournament. Michael Jordan’s custom-built 80-foot sport fishing yacht is named “Catch 23.” It was designed and built by Bayliss Boatworks, and is known for its speed, luxurious features and of course, Michael Jordan’s personal touch. The yacht boasts a custom cold-molded hull, powerful MTU engines, and a sleek unmistakable exterior. Michael Jordan has been attending for years; he’s also known for his passion for fishing and was involved in the design and customization of the yacht. So, what is the top speed of the Catch 23? It’s powered by twin diesel MTU (V16 2000 M96L) 2,635hp engines, motor yacht Catch 23 is capable of reaching a top speed of 39 knots, and rides comfortably at a cruise of 33 knots. The price for his beauty was $8 million dollars and in order to maintain it, it costs a cool $1 million.

The tournament attracts many celebrities, from world-famous chefs to legendary athletes. In the past celebrities such as Hall of Fame baseball player Wade Boggs, celebrity chef Emeril Largesse, and singer Roy Clark are some of the famous people who have participated in the White Marlin Open throughout its history. So, his wife Sky is set to inherit a significant amount of money of his estate, potentially sparking a family feud, perhaps not. In Florida, spousal elective share guarantees the serving spouse a minimum of 30% of the deceased spouse’s assets. Even if she wasn’t mentioned in the will. It all began when they found themselves embracing by the “Kiss Cam” during a Coldplay concert. The entire incident spread like a raging wildfire, mostly because of their reaction. Andy is married to Megan Kerrigan with two kids. Kristin is also married to someone else. Megan deactivated her Facebook account and is currently back with her statement regarding the whole incident. As a woman, I totally understand how he feels to be cheated on. While the authenticity of Megan Kerrigan’s statement cannot be confirmed, she wrote a statement, which has been claimed to be from Megan, features a thank-you note for all the well-wishers and supporters who backed her during this difficult time.

The same Facebook page also features a post, where Megan talked about dropping the surname Byron from her name. She called the entire incident painful and humiliating. It was on July 16, 2025, when the clip of Kristin and Andy caused a stir on the Internet. Given Andy’s marital status and alleged infidelity, it was being stated that his wife Megan, might opt for a split. While the official confirmation about their divorce awaits, Andy will sure have to pay millions for sure, considering he was the CEO of the AI company Astronomer. He has since resigned amid all the negative publicity.

Now, as for the woman Kristen Cabot, head of HR, she got divorced from first husband, Kenneth Thronby, in 2022. How in the world is it Coldplay’s fault?

Let’s begin with Coldplay’s frontman, Chris Martin, who pointed Kristin Cabot and Andy Byron out to the Kiss Cam and asked whether they were having an affair or were extremely camera shy. As it turned out, Andy and Kristin were actually having an affair. The incident has become the talk of the town, with memes that are extremely funny. Perhaps, if their reaction wasn’t so severe, it would have passed. It was like they were the cat caught eating the canary. Now, does he have a case against Coldplay and the organizers of the concert?  No mention of any lawsuit pending, only speculation, since in this country everyone sues frivolously. 

The concert was held at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, lead singer Chris Martin, asked the cameras to scan the crowd for his “Jumbotron Song,” when he sings a few lines about the people the camera lands on. A man wearing a birthday hat was up first. Two people in banana costumes were highlighted. But in between, something unexpected happened. For several seconds, a couple was shown on the big screen. They were cuddling and smiling, his arms wrapped around her, as she leaned back to him. When they saw themselves on the big screen, her jaw dropped, her hands flew to her face, and she spun away from the camera. He ducked out of the frame, as did she.

That’s when Chris Martin said, “Either they are having an affair or they’re just very shy,” Martin joked. It didn’t end there. The video went viral, considering the high ranks they hold. Astronomer, based in New York, provides big companies with a platform that helps them organize their data. The company at first said little about the incident, it just didn’t go away so the company later confirmed the identities of the couple in a statement to AP.

It’s easy to miss, but most concert venues have signs informing the audience that they could be filmed during the event. Look for them on the walls when you arrive and around the bar areas or toilets. It’s common practice especially when bands like to use performances for music videos or concert films. The venue in this case, Gillette stadium in Foxborough, also has a privacy policy online which states: “When you visit our location or attend or participate in an event at our location, we may capture your image, voice and/or likeness, including through the use of CCTV cameras and or when we film or photograph you in a public location.” In our internet sphere, videos can easily go viral. While empathy goes out to the families mixed in this commentary and countless memes, it’s a little unsettling how easily we can be identified with biometrics, how our faces are online, how social media can track us and how the internet has gone from being a place for interaction to a gigantic surveillance system.
