BEVERLY HILLS—The film director Guillermo del Toro is known for his films, including Cronos, Pacific Rim, Hellboy, Pan’s Labyrinth, and The Shape of Water, as well as for creating the Netflix anthology series Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities. He is also an avid collector of fantasy-themed objects and memorabilia inspired by monsters, as well as film mementos and artwork. Now, a third of this collection has been put up for sale at auction.

This auction will commence on September 26, 2025, and will be conducted by Heritage Auctions in three separate parts. A portion of the items being sold was displayed in Beverly Hills by the auction company to start the preview for the auction.

The inspiration for Guillermo del Toro selling some of his collectible items was the Los Angeles Wildfires which made him desire to share it with others who desired either to possess some of the many items he owned or preserve them for future generations.

Included in the items being auction off are memorabilia from the production of Guillermo del Toro’s films.
