According to the DOJ complaint, he stated that he was not afraid to die. U.S. Attorney General, Pam Bondi, made the following statement regarding this arrest:

“This Afghan national came into America during the Biden administration and is alleged, explicitly stated that he came here in order to kill American citizens.

The public safety threat created by the Biden administration’s vetting breakdown cannot be overstated. The Department of Justice will continue working with our federal and state partners to protect the American people from the prior administration’s dangerous incompetence.”

Alokozay is currently in police custody pending his initial appearance before the U.S. magistrate.

This investigation was conducted by the FBI’s Field Office in Dallas, TX, in conjunction with the Department of Homeland Security, and assistance from the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Fort Worth Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney, Vincent Mazzurco of the Northern District of Texas is prosecuting the case.

The Trump administration is blaming the Biden administration for the numerous attacks from within by Afghan Nationals. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) under the reign of former President Joe Biden agreed to resettle “Afghan allies,” into the United States.

There are photographs of Afghan evacuees packed into a Boeing jet traveling from Afghanistan to the United States. Reports indicate that that shooter of the U.S. National Guard soldiers in Washington D.C. that happened the day before Thanksgiving, came into the U.S. during that Biden-era program in 2021.

Democrat leaders are suggesting the U.S. promised to protect their Afghan allies. Republicans disagree. Alokozay’s attorney is pleading not guilty on behalf of his client indicating that Alokozay, who was once reportedly a trusted CIA operative in Afghanistan who is now suffering from PTSD.

On December 1, a makeshift memorial for the two National Guardsman who were gunned down while deployed in Washington D.C. to help restore order in the nation’s Capital.

Paul and Nancy Pelosi resided in New York prior to settling in the San Francisco Bay area. The Pelosi’s reside in the Pacific Heights area. Nancy Pelosi is currently serving her 20th year in congress representing California’s 11th Congressional District which includes the majority of San Francisco. She has held this position since 1987.

Nancy Pelosi was elected as the first woman speaker of the House in 1987, serving in that role through 2011, and again from 2019-2023.

Pelosi was an advocate for the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), abortion, and LGBTQ rights. She was one of the first politicians pictured kneeling for the flag next to her fellow democrat constituents.

California’s Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom has familial ties to the Pelosi’s through marriage. They are not blood relatives, but Nancy Pelosi’s sister-in-law was married to Gavin Newsom’s uncle.

FBI Director Kash Patel announced that it was an illegal gambling and sports operation that took place over 11 years, and they arrested a total of 31 people involved in wire fraud, money laundering, extortion, robbery, and illegal gambling.

“This FBI will leave no room for any perpetrator of crime across this country. You hear a lot about our work defending the homeland and crushing crime, well this work is also a representative of a colossal portion of the FBI’s mandate to keep America safe and to keep our entertainment industry fair and secure,” Patel said during the press conference. “The fraud is mind boggling…tens of millions of dollars in fraud, theft and robbery across a multi-year investigation.”

“Tens of millions of dollars in fraud and theft,” Patel stated during a news conference Thursday morning. “It takes courageous prosecutors courage to stand in front of you…we will not deny anyone due process,” Patel added. He added the gambling operation involves insider trading with the NBA.

U.S. Attorney Joseph Nocella, Jr. of the Eastern District of New York announced two indictments. The scheme was an insider sports betting conspiracy that spilled confidential details about basketball operations. The second indictment involved high-tech cheating devices in underground poker room games involving mob families from the Bonanno, Gambino, Genovese, and Lucchese crime families. He added during the press conference that the NBA did cooperate with the investigation, and that details of the case did not involve college basketball.

“As alleged, members and associates of organized crime families fixed illegal poker games as part of a highly sophisticated and lucrative fraud scheme to cheat victims out of millions of dollars and conspired with others to perpetrate their frauds,” stated United States Attorney Nocella.  “Well-known former NBA players and former professional athletes, acted as ‘Face Cards’ to lure unsuspecting victims to high-stakes poker games, where they were then at the mercy of concealed technology, including rigged shuffling machines and specially designed contacts lenses and sunglasses to read the backs of playing cards, which ensured that the victims would lose big.  Today’s indictment and arrests sounds the final buzzer for these cheaters.”

Billups has been the coach for the Portland Trail Blazers since 2021. He was drafted into the NBA in 1997 to the Boston Celtics as the third overall pick. He won an NBA Championship with the Detroit Pistons in 2004. He is a five-time all-star and an NBA Finals Most Valuable Player. He retired from the league in 2014.

Damon Jones, 49, played with the Cleveland Cavaliers during his time in the NBA league. Jones was arrested in Las Vegas, Nevada, Thursday morning. Former Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier, 31, was arrested Thursday morning in Orlando, Florida in connected to the case. Rozier played with the Charlotte Hornets and New Orleans Pelicans.

“Beginning as early as 2019, the defendants orchestrated a scheme to utilize wireless technology to rig,” Nocella, Jr. stated.

As alleged in the indictment, beginning as early as 2019, the defendants engaged in a series of schemes to use wireless cheating technology to rig illegal poker games (most commonly, Texas Hold’em) in the Eastern District of New York and across the United States.  Co-conspirators in the scheme included game organizers, who arranged for unwitting victims to play in underground illegal poker games that were secretly rigged; suppliers of the rigged cheating technology; former professional athletes, who were enlisted as “Face Cards” in the scheme to entice the victims’ participation in the games; cheating teams who worked together using the cheating technology to defraud the victims; money launderers; and members and associates of the Bonanno, Gambino, and Genovese organized crime families of LCN, who backed games in the New York area and took a percentage of the crime proceeds from those games.

LCN members and associates had a foothold in the rigged poker scheme because they had preexisting control over “straight” (i.e., non-rigged) illegal poker games in New York City, where some of the rigged poker games also occurred: one that was hosted principally at Lexington Avenue in Manhattan, that was on record with the Bonanno family (the “Lexington Avenue Game”); and a second that was hosted principally at Washington Place in Manhattan, that was on record with the Gambino family (the “Washington Place Game”).  As part of the schemes, some of the charged defendants and other co-conspirators also committed acts of violence, including the robbery and extortions charged in the indictment.

The defendants utilized off the shelf shuffling machines to read the cards off the deck and predict which players had the best poker hands and relayed that information to the off-site operator. That information was given to the quarterback and that information was given to others at the table to win their games and to cheat the victims.

“Using the allure of high-stakes winnings and the promise to play alongside well-known professional athletes, these defendants allegedly defrauded unwitting victims out of tens of millions of dollars and established a financial pipeline to La Cosa Nostra,” stated FBI Assistant Director in Charge Raia.  “This alleged scheme wreaked havoc across the nation, exploiting the notoriety of some and the wallets of others to finance the Italian crime families. Our office maintains its aggressive pursuit of any Italian organized crime operating in our jurisdiction and will continue to stem all unlawful revenue streams fueling their illicit activity.”

As alleged, members of the conspiracy fulfilled different roles to ensure the schemes’ success.  The defendants Tony Goodson, Shane Hennen, Curtis Meeks, and Robert Stroud supplied the cheating technology.  The defendants Ammar Awawdeh, Saul Becher, John Gallo, Zhen Hu, Stroud, and Seth Trustman organized the rigged games.  Members of the cheating teams included the defendants Nelson Alvarez, Louis Apicella, Chauncey Billups, Eric Earnest, Marco Garzon, Jamie Gilet, Tony Goodson, Kenny Han, Hennen, Horatio Hu, Damon Jones, John Mazzola, Nicholas Minucci, Michael Renzulli, Angelo Ruggiero, Jr., Stroud, Trustman, and Sophia Wei.

In addition, the defendant Anthony Shnayderman, among others, laundered the proceeds of the schemes.  Game organizers sometimes directed victims to send money via bank wires to shell companies controlled by Shnayderman, who then transferred money (either in cash or cryptocurrency), less a money laundering fee, back to the game organizers.

The charges in the indictments are allegations, and the defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

According to President Trump’s public schedule listed on, “Roll Call,” the President left the White House on Sunday October 12, at 3:30 p.m., and departing from Joint Base Andrews at 4:40 p.m., arriving at Ben Gurion Airport, Tel Aviv, Israel on Monday, October 13, at 2:20 a.m.

On October 13, 3:45 a.m., President Trump attended the Israeli Parliament, and met with the hostage families in Knesset, Jerusalem. As he signed into the guestbook in Knesset, he wrote,

“This is my great honor, a great and beautiful day, a new beginning.”

President Trump made the following statement in Knesset, Israel:

“After two harrowing years in darkness and captivity, 20 courageous hostages are returning to the glorious embrace of their families. Twenty-eight more precious loved ones are coming home at last to rest in this sacred soil for all of time. And after so many years of unceasing war and endless danger, today the skies are calm, the guns are silent, the sirens are still, and the sun rises on a Holy Land that is finally at peace.”

“This is not only the end of a war. This is the end of an age of terror and death, the beginning of the age of faith and hope and of God,” Trump stated.

At the end of his speech, President Trump publicly gave those present the idea, to give Prime Minister, Netanyahu, a pardon, to which the crowd responded with a standing ovation.

Prime Minister Netanyahu, spoke highly of President Trump and all he has done to achieve world peace.

“Donald Trump is the greatest friend Israel has ever had in the White House. No American President has ever done more for Israel than this one, and as I said in Washington, ‘It ain’t even close.”

Peace talks with the Arab states began on Monday, September 29, with Arab and U.S. leadership unfolding a plan to end the war in Gaza and create a pathway for a Palestinian state.

President Trump met with governments of Qatar, Jordan, the United Araba Emirates, Indonesia Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Pakistan.

On September 29, Egypt released a joint statement backing Trump’s plan that was initiated at the White House with the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Israel has also begun to release close to 2,000 Palestinians, 250 of whom, are believed to be terrorists.

The home was reportedly not used as a first or second home by Letitia James or her family, but instead was purchased to be a rental home, for investment purposes.

The tiger reportedly attacked Easley around his neck and head causing fatal injuries. According to Choctaw County Sheriff’s Department, Easley was dead when Sheriff’s deputies arrived on the scene.

Prowler Pines Tiger Preserve made an initial statement on their Facebook page confirming the death of Easley died in what they called, an “accident, involving a tiger under his care.”

Ryan Easley was an associate of Joseph Maldonado, also known as, “The Tiger King,” who is currently serving prison time for unrelated charges.  Reports indicate that Easley may have obtained some of The Tiger Kings tigers in Maldonado’s care following his imprisonment. That has not been confirmed by Canyon News.

Prowler Pines Tiger Preserve is located in the Red River Valley in Southeastern Oklahoma, close to the Texas border. The following message on their website:

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, all tours have been postponed. All tickets will be refunded.”

The non-government operation (NGO) “Protect All Wildlife” made a statement they posted on their X social media page:

“Keeping wild animals in captivity and forcing them to perform for human amusement is as far from the natural world as they can get, and using wild animals for entertainment is dangerous and wrong for everyone involved.”

The People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) made a statement on their X Social media site as well, accusing Easley of hurting the tigers he loved. Easley is not here to defend himself against those accusations. Canyon News is not reporting that the tiger trainer hurt the animals in any way. The statement from PETA is below:

“Tiger abuser Ryan Easley was fatally attacked by a tiger during a show in front of his family and onlookers. When wild animals are caged, beaten, and denied freedom, tragedy is inevitable. This cycle of suffering must end.”

Canyon News reached out to the Prowler Pines Tiger Preserve for a statement but did not hear back in time for print.

routh Indictment

Ryan Routh was found guilty of the following offenses.

The attempted Assassination of a major presidential candidate

Possession of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence

Assaulting a federal officer

A felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition

Possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.

Routh, who pleaded not guilty to all charges filed against him. He now faces the maximum penalty of life in prison. His sentencing date is scheduled for December 18, 2025.

When the guilty verdict was read in court, Routh grabbed a pen and attempted to stab himself in the neck with it. U.S. Marshal’s immediately took custody of Routh, took his pen away, and placed him in shackles.

As of September 24, Routh was being housed in the medical unit of St. Lucie County Jail, located at 900 N Rock Rd, Fort Pierce, FL under suicide watch.

Routh’s young daughter, Sara Routh, was present in the courtroom when the verdict was read. She became emotional, while attempting to fight off the media, and leave. She was screaming obscenities in a dramatic exit.

Routh has an extensive criminal history. He reportedly was a resident on the island of Oahu in Hawaii at the time of his arrest. He lived in North Carolina prior to that where he was convicted of two felonies, one in December of 2002, and the other in March of 2010.

The prosecution provided 38 witnesses in the case. Routh represented himself. Reports indicate that he initially attempted to use his speaking time as a platform for political speech. The Judge shut that down immediately and only took talking points and evidence pertaining to the trial.

Then, U.S. Secret Service Special Agent, Robert Fercano provided witness testimony indicating that he was patrolling one hole ahead of Trump at the golf course when he spotted Routh pointing an AK-style rifle at Trump through the fence abutting the golf course. He reported his fear for his own life and the life of President Trump and opened fire at Routh. Routh fled the scene.

Investigating officers discovered a loaded SKS-style rifle fully equipped with a scope, and a magazine containing 19 additional rounds of ammunition. The safety was off and there was steel armor plates with a camera attached to the fence facing the sixth hole of the green all were found in Routh’s hiding place.

The FBI led this investigation with assistance from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office, Martin County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Secret Service.

Another witness testified in court that they saw Routh running across the road from the golf course at Mar-a-Lago and getting into a black Nissan Xterra. Routh was seen traveling northbound on I-95 which prompted a search by Martin County Sheriff’s deputies/Palm County Sheriff’s deputies.

Numerous burner phones were found in Routh’s Nissan Xterra along with a list of available flights flying out of Miami International Airport, and directions to the airport.

Cell phone records revealed that the burner phones accessed cell towers near Trump International/Mar-a-Lago.

Lastly, a handwritten note, signed by Routh was found in his vehicle that read, “This was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump, but I am so sorry I failed you.”

State Farm Stadium can seat 63,400 people with unobstructed views, 73,000 for larger events. The memorial was said to be attended by at least 85,000-90,000 people plus approximately a million others who attended virtually (watched) via livestream.

The event confirmed the claim that TPUSA is the fastest-growing movement in America.  It sparked smaller memorials, and vehicle processions in honor of the late Charlie Kirk, that have taken place nationwide.

Attendees, radio talk show hosts, and other spectators all agreed that the most captivating speech was the one made by Charlie Kirk’s widow, and TPUSA CEO, Erika Kirk. She spoke for just under 30 minutes, and about 22 minutes in, she awed the country with her words.

…” My husband, Charlie, he wanted to save young men just like the one who took his life.  That young man, the young man on the cross, our Savior said, Father, forgive them for they do not know what they do.’  That man, that young man, I forgive him.  I forgive him because it was what Christ did, and that is what Charlie would do.

The answer to hate is not hate.  The answer we know from the gospel is love and always love. Love for our enemies and love for those who persecute us.”

When Charlie Kirk spoke, he, spoke of his faith in God, his conservative views, and doing the right thing.  He was murdered while doing what he was famous for, challenging young people to become the best versions of themselves.  He has been described by many as a modern-day martyr because he died for his faith.

Kimbrell reportedly told Secret Service agents on location that she was Mrs. Trump and that she wanted to see the President. Tuesday was Ms. Kimbrell’s third attempt to trespass at Mar-a-Lago this summer. Those present recognized Kimbrell from two recent visits to Mar-a-Lago in May.

On May 16, she told Secret Service agents that she was named Christy Kimbrell, but changed her name to Trump when she and the President got married.

According to an affidavit, Kimbrell returned on May 20. She took Uber to the Beach House and Tennis Club located on the property. She then again claimed to be married to the President, and suggested that President Trump told her to “come home.” She was issued a warning at that time.

Palm Beach Daily News reported that Kimbrell was still in jail as of September 17, with bail set at $10,000. Palm Beach inmate records indicate that Kimbell was charged with one misdemeanor for trespassing at a structure or conveyance, and that the bond was issued for $250.

Canyon News called the Palm Beach County Department of Corrections to verify Kimbrell’s presence and was transferred to Inmate Services and placed on permanent hold.

Reports indicate that Kimbrell is a member of the homeless community. She was appointed legal representation.

On September 17, Kimbrell first appeared before a Palm Beach County Judge who reportedly ordered Kimbrell not to have any contact with President Trump/the property at Mar-a-Lago. The Judge also ordered her to remain sober, no alcohol or drugs other than what is prescribed to her by her physician, and she is to undergo a psyche evaluation within the next 30 days.

Sincliar Inc., who does business as(DBA),Sinclair broadcasting are those who sign the paychecks for the Disney owned, ABC television network to run Jimmy Kimmel Live has demanded that Jimmy Kimmel offer a sincere apology for his inaccurate, insensitive remarks following the political assassination of Charlie Kirk. 

In addition, Kimmel will be expected to make, “a reasonable donation,” to Turning Point USA, before ever being allowed on the air again under the umbrella of Sinclair Broadcasting.

On Monday, September 15, Jimmy Kimmel said, “The MAGA (Make America Great Again) gang is desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it.”

Andrew Alford, the President of Nextstar Broadcasting, issued the following statement.

“Mr. Kimmel’s comments about the death of Mr. Kirk are offensive and insensitive at a critical time in our national political discourse, and we do not believe they reflect the spectrum of opinions, views, or values of the local communities in which we are located.

Continuing to give Mr. Kimmel a broadcast platform in the communities we serve is simply not in the public interest at the current time, and we have made the difficult decision to preempt his show in an effort to let cooler heads prevail as we move toward the resumption of respectful, constructive dialogue.”

The amount of scrutiny Kimmel is under is insurmountable. There are a multitude of comments on X and other social media outlets. The irony is that Charlie Kirk was not known to hate anyone. He challenged the beliefs of the young in a debate platform and has been openly praised by those whom he converted.

Journalist and media commentator Megyn Kelly referred to Kimmel’s comments, indicating that Charlie Kirk’s murderer was part of MAGA, and Trump in particular is nothing but a “Vile Lie,” and stated that, “Any employer in media would see how depraved and sick this was.”

Texas Senator Ted Cruz said, “Maybe lying about a deranged left-wing murderer wasn’t a good move?”

Jimmy Kimmel is not the only person to lose his job after exceeding the limits of free speech. Former MSNBC political analyst Matthew Dowd suggested that Charlie Kirk’s “rhetoric” somehow contributed to his demise. “Hateful words lead to Hateful actions,” Dowd stated. 

MSNBC President Rebecca Kutler, and Dowd later apologized for his remarks, acknowledging that they were “Inappropriate and unacceptable.”

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, placed FEMA employee Gavin Sylvia on administrative leave after making derogatory comments on Instagram over President Trump’s decision to have the flags flown at half-staff in honor of the Christian activist, Charlie Kirk.

“Half Staff for literal racist, homophobe, misogynist” Sylvia posted.

Multiple reports indicate that dozens of people who pushed the limits of their freedom of speech by celebrating the political assassination of a fellow American have lost their jobs.

On September 12, President Trump appeared on Fox and Friends and was the first to tell the nation that the suspect was in custody. The President was intentionally vague at first to protect the Fox News Network and himself from legal ramifications of announcing the arrest too soon. He did not say his name or relay all the details. “They got him,” Trump stated.

Reports indicate that it was Robinson’s pastor that initially recognized the suspect. The Pastor reached out to Robinson’s father, former Washington County Sheriff, Mike Robinson who convinced his son to turn himself in. The elder Robinson was able to secure his son (handcuff him) before he was taken into custody.

Mike Robinson is a 44-year veteran of the Washington County Sheriff’s Department, 27 of those years were spent as Sheriff. The suspect’s mother, Amber Robinson is employed by the state of Utah at Intermountain Support Coordination Services who ensure quality care for the disabled in the area.

According to reports, Tyler Robinson was at dinner with his parents recently. He mentioned that Charlie Kirk was to be a featured speaker at UVA where then would-be sniper had also attended. The younger Robinson spoke of his disdain for Kirk, and why he did not like him.

FBI Director, Kash Patel posted the following notification on his Facebook page.

“The subject for the horrific shooting today that took the life of Charlie Kirk is now in custody. Thank you to the local and state authorities of Utah for your partnership with@fbi. We will provide updates when able.”

Any work hours over the eighth hour worked on the seventh day of the week will be at the rate of one-half times the regular rate of pay. In addition, an excess of 12 hours in one day will be paid no less than twice the regular rate of pay.

According to California Labor Code Section 510, exceptions do apply to employees who have adopted alternate work weeks.

Premium pay after designated hours is Daily—8 hours (Time and Half) and 12 hours (Double Time) – 40 on the 7th day, first eight hours (time and Half), over eight hours on the 7th day (double time).

California’s state minimum wage will increase to $16.90 per hour on January 1, 2026. This 40-cent increase reflects a 2.49% adjustment tied to the U.S. Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers (CPI-W), as confirmed by the state’s Director of Finance.

These rates apply only to the state of California. Each state’s employment rate reflects the economy of where they live. For example, Minimum wage in Alaska is $13 per hour. The minimum wage in Alabama is $7.25 per hour. Gas and transportation costs are considerably less in Alabama, as are milk, eggs, and other necessities.
