SANTA MONICA—Fidel Ruiz-Healy is a cinematographer who lives in Santa Monica. After he departed to spend some time away for work, he was shocked to return and find that thieves had ransacked his home. He was also shocked and horrified that he could no longer live in his house due to the actions of these thieves.
All of Fidel Ruiz-Healy’s valuable items were stolen, including his camera and film equipment that was owned by his collaborators. Also, the thieves left weapons, trash, and other items in his bedroom, and they had also cut the electrical wires and the pipes.
On September 16, a GoFundMe campaign was launched to help Fidel Ruiz-Healy recover.
